Ultimate Locator v3.5 is now available for download...

Web Logic Media, Inc. has released v3.5 of it's Ultimate Locator software  This release is considered a major release as it includes new features, new templates and improved code.  It is recommended that any v3.x user go ahead and update their system to this v3.5 release.

As always, this update is free as long as your Support & Updates Plan is active within your account.  If it's not active, you can easily renew the plan to gain access to the downloads.

New & Improved Features Include:

- Added Category & Product Assignments to Location Import file.  Now you can include your category & product assignments in line with the store records.  No more fumbling around with a second import file.  One file / One Import handles all your assignments.

- Added support for Mobile Devices, such as smartphones and iPads.  New mobile templates are automatically used, which are far more robust for these types of devices.  You will have to view your locator system with your smartphone to see the mobile templates get used.

- Reworked all templates to better confirm to web 2.0 standards.  The front-end screens are now more robust and easier to customize with the all-inclusive CSS.

- Added new icon set for front-end Contact fields.

- Added reCAPTCHA.com Service as the new CAPTCHA sytem / Removed Generic Captcha system.

- Added Quick Links section to Admin Panel Dashboard.

- Added ability to automatically Print Category & Product names to the screen on the Results list and Detail pages of a store location.

- Removed Import Category & Products Assignment routines from Admin Panel.  No longer needed.

- Altered the way User Fields are printed to the Details Page.  If no data present for an active field, the Title of the user field no longer prints out.

- Altered the way State Names and Country Names sort within the system and in drop down lists.  Now sorts by Name instead of Country ID.

Bug Fixes Include:

- Bug Fix:  Added anchor to Details Page for when user clicks on 'Contact via Email'.  Page did not transition properly to anchor on the email form.  Issue Resolved.

- Bug Fix:  Export Records would not retain hit counts per store record properly on some servers.  Issue resolved.

- A few small annoyances have been fixed along with some php code alterations. 

Other small non-critical glitches and quirks were corrected to improve overall usability.  We have also revamped many of the front-end templates to improve on design and interface.

Upgrade Notes:  v3.4 and v3.5 utilize the same type of license key.  If you are running an earlier verison than 3.4, a new license key that is compatible must be deposited to your member account for you by our staff.  Please submit a new Trouble Ticket to our support staff and ask for your new v3.5 key.  If your Support & Updates Plan is active, we will gladly deposit the needed key.  If your plan is expired, please renew the plan first before requesting your new key.
